Team Basketball Camp: Information

TEAM CAMP

  • DATES: Thu – Sat, June 13 – 15
    Games start Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
    Check-out Saturday morning (games continue to noon on Saturday)
  • WHERE: The University of Texas
  • WHO: High School Teams (boys)
    Minimum 7 players/Maximum 12 Players
    Two divisions (LV and JV/SV)
    Limit two teams per school
  • COST: $180 per overnight player, $110 per day player
    Two adults/chaperones included in cost

Per NCAA rules, sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas are open to all entrants. Enrollment is limited only by age, grade level, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp.

FEES

The $180 per player resident fee includes games, campus housing, buffet style all-you-can-eat meals (beginning with dinner on Thursday and ending with breakfast on Saturday), housing (one double room) and food for up to two adult chaperones; parking for two team vehicles, and a Nike camp t-shirt for each player and two chaperones.The $110 per player day camper fee includes all the above except for food and housing. At least one and up to two adults must accompany each team and are included in the cost. Adults are housed in the dorm with their team and assist with dorm and general team supervision. Game coaches may be provided (upon request).

Payment in full is due prior to the first day of camp or you may forfeit your spot. There are no tuition refunds after the first day of camp.

MEDICAL CARE / INSURANCE

The team contact is responsible for submitting medical forms completed by each player’s parent/guardian. The required medical forms are available at www.longhornbasketballcamp.com/medical-forms. Note: A physician’s signature is required on one of these forms; however, the participant’s current school year physical may be attached in lieu of a doctor’s signature (only if performed after April 2012). The medical forms must be submitted prior to check-in on the first day of camp. Each participant must be covered by his legal guardian’s insurance before participating. Medical aid is provided on site by a licensed athletics trainer or the Texas Sports & Family Medicine or a local hospital. Campers’ parents/guardians are billed directly for all medical services rendered by Texas Sports & Family Medicine or a local hospital, and not covered by their insurance..
